Hu Zuhong et al., from Huayanghe Farm, Anhui Province, published an article on the effect of 5-A L on soybean yield and quality in Wanjiang Region. The effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid (AL-1) treatment on yield and quality of soybean was studied.

  I. Experimental design

The experiment was carried out in the experimental field of Huayanghe Farm, Fuxing Town, Susong County, Anhui Province. The soybean variety 'Wandou 15' was tested. Using a single factor random block design (as shown in the figure below), 5-ALA was sprayed on the soybean leaf surface at 5 to 6 compound leaf stages. There are 3 repetitions per concentration. The yield was calculated by the actual soybean in the field trial plot.

  2. Results and analysis

It can be seen from the table that exogenous 5-ALA treatment has certain effects, among which A3(120ml/L) has the best effect, and the weight of 100 soybeans is 16.74g.

As can be seen from the table, exogenous 5-ALA treatment is more suitable for A3(120ml/L), resulting in a yield of 225.54kg per mu, a 14.08% increase compared with the control group.

The results showed that reasonable application of exogenous 5-ALA photosynthesis promoter could increase the effective branch number, effective pod number per plant, effective grain number per plant and 100 grain weight of soybean in 5-6 compound leaf stage, and had a significant effect on the improvement of soybean quality and field character.
