Test Report on 5-ALA Fertilizer Efficiency of Xiaoqingcai (Shuibantian Farm, May 1st, 2023)

1. Test purpose

Taking small green vegetables as the research object, field fertilizer efficiency experiments were conducted with different fertilizer leaf sprays to observe and record the growth of small green vegetables, and verify the fertilizer efficiency of leaf sprays with different concentrations of 5-ALA during the seedling stage of small green vegetables.

2. Test materials and methods

2.1 Test fertilizer

Little Sun Pre-C(5-ALA supplier: Suzhou Namite produces 5-ALA+long-term stabilizer);

Early Autumn Red (5-ALA supplier: P2O5+K2O ≥ 50% from a manufacturer in Guangxi);

Hongguoli (5-ALA supplier: unknown humic acid ≥ 40 g/l, N+P2O5+K2O ≥ 200 g/l);

Dengji - Explosive Red (5-ALA supplier: a manufacturer in Shandong, other added ingredients unknown).

2.4 Test method

The test site is greenhouse No. 13 of Shuibantian Experimental Farm, and the previous stubble is wasteland. On March 1, 2023, small green vegetables will be transplanted, with 1.2 m ridge spacing and 20 cm plant spacing. The first leaf spraying fertilization treatment (see the table below for the specific treatment) will be carried out on March 8, 2023 at the five leaf stage (GS=15) of the seedling stage of Brassica campestris after a week of slow seeding. The same treatment will be carried out again every seven days later, with a total of three times of fertilization. The chlorophyll content of Brassica campestris will be investigated four days after each fertilization. After the second treatment, the leaf area, fresh weight above ground and root weight of the plant will be investigated, and the yield will be calculated. The data will be recorded for statistical analysis.

3. Experimental data and analysis

The data in the table above shows that compared to the control of water spraying on the leaves during the seedling stage, the Xiaotaiyang Pre-C and other treatment schemes have a significant impact on the chlorophyll content of small green vegetables. Among them, treatment 4 can significantly increase the chlorophyll content by 3.17%, with significant differences.

The data in the table above shows that compared to the clear water control during the seedling stage, foliar spraying with Little Sun Pre-C and other treatment schemes can increase the aboveground fresh weight of small green vegetables. Secondly, treatment 4 with 800 times the red fruit strength has the best fertilizer effect, and both have significant differences compared to the clear water control, but the difference between the two is not significant.

In the later investigation, treatment 2 Xiaoyang Pre-C and treatment 4 Hongguo Li 800 times better fertilizer efficiency, with treatment 2 Xiaoyang Pre-C slightly higher than Hongguo Li 800 times. Compared to other treatment schemes with clear water, the fertilizer effect is significant.

Among them, treatment 3 with 500 times of early autumn red can significantly increase by 9.23%, and the difference is not significant. The second investigation showed that the treatment of 2 Xiaosun Pre-C and 4 Hongguo Li increased the root weight of small green vegetables 800 times, while other treatment schemes reduced the root weight of small green vegetables, with significant differences among the treatments.


From the above table, it can be intuitively seen that compared to the water control treatment, treatment 4 with 800 times the red fruit strength has better fertilizer efficiency. In the later stage, it can increase the root weight of small green vegetables, but the fertilizer efficiency is slightly lower than treatment 2 with small sun Pre-C.


3.5 Effect of Different Fertilizers on Nitrate Content of Small Green Vegetables

The data in the table above shows that compared to the control of water, the use of Xiaotaiyang Pre-C and other treatment schemes in foliar spraying during the seedling stage reduced the nitrate content of small green vegetables. Among them, the treatment of 5 deng chicken and 15 times of explosive red had the best fertilizer effect, reducing 8.79%, but the difference was not significant.


As can be seen from the above figure, compared to the water control group, other schemes all reduced the nitrate content of small green vegetables, among which the effect of Small Sun Pre-C was more obvious.


3.6 Effects of different fertilizers on the yield of small green vegetables

The data in the table above shows that compared to the control group with clear water, spraying Xiaoyang Pre-C on the leaves during the seedling stage and other treatment schemes can improve the yield of small green vegetables. Among them, treatment 2 Xiaoyang Pre-C has the best fertilizer efficiency, which can increase by 23.11%, and the difference is significant; Secondly, the treatment of 4 red fruits with 800 times more fertility is more effective.

From the above figure, it can be intuitively seen that compared to the control of water, spraying other treatment schemes on the leaves of small green vegetables during the seedling stage can improve yield, among which the treatment of Small Sun Pre-C has the best effect.


4. Test results and discussion


4.1 Compared to the control of water, spraying Xiaosun Pre-C and other treatment schemes on the leaves of small green vegetables during the seedling stage can increase the leaf area, aboveground fresh weight, and yield of small green vegetables, and have a certain impact on the chlorophyll content, root weight, and nitrate content of small green vegetables, with significant differences;


4.2 Compared with the water control, the small sun Pre-C can increase leaf area by 25.76%, aboveground fresh weight by 25.06%, and yield by 16.29%, with significant differences.


Compared to the clear water control, spraying small green vegetables on the leaves of Xiaoyangpre C during the seedling stage has better fertilizer efficiency, greatly increasing the leaf area of small green vegetables by 26.66%, aboveground fresh weight by 25.30%, and yield by 23.11%, with significant differences.


In summary, spraying Little Sun Pre-C on the leaves of small green vegetables during the seedling stage has better fertilizer efficiency, which can significantly increase the leaf area and aboveground fresh weight of small green vegetables. The analysis of quality indicators of small green vegetables showed that compared to the control with water, other treatment schemes could reduce the nitrate content in small green vegetables leaves, with significant differences; Moreover, the fertilizer efficiency of treatments 3, 4, and 5 applied alone was slightly lower than that of the Xiaotaiyang Pre-C control. In the second survey, it was found that the fertilizer efficiency indicators of treatments 3, 4, and 5 had decreased, indicating a decrease or partial failure of the content of effective substances such as 5-ALA. It has also been proven that Pre-C plays a significant role in the stability of 5-ALA.
