  What is 5-ALA?

  In 2004, Wang Liangju, professor of horticulture at Nanjing Agricultural University, published a research paper entitled "The effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid on promoting apple fruit coloring" in the Journal of Fruit Science, and reported for the first time that 5-ALA can promote apple coloring, without affecting fruit hardness and shelf life, and improve the internal and external quality of fruit.

  In 2013, Guo Lei et al., Institute of Horticulture, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, published an article entitled "Research on the mechanism of 5-ALA promoting early coloring of peach peel" in the Journal of Horticulture. It was confirmed that 5-ALA treatment significantly increased the expression of genes related to anthocyanin synthesis in fruit, promoted the advance synthesis and accumulation of pigment in fruit peel, and significantly promoted the growth and maturation.

  5- What are the specific products of ALA agriculture?

  Agricultural 5-ALA products are mainly divided into two types: one is a water agent with a content of 2% to 3%, and the other is a powder with a content of 8% to 10%.

  

  With the development of science and technology, some companies that make this product have completed breakthroughs in product content.   5-ALA itself has a strong photosensitivity, although agricultural products due to relatively low content and contain some other substances can reduce the impact of light on it, but if it is in direct sunlight conditions will still be easy to decompose. Therefore, it must be stored away from light.

  5-ALA easily decomposes at high temperatures. Storage conditions as far as possible room temperature, if the compounding process involves high temperature conditions, a few hours is OK, high temperature duration more than one day stability will become worse. At that time, the situation of the product needs to be closely observed.

  5-ALA itself as an acidic substance, if it is used with alkaline substances, it will affect its own use effect because of acid and base neutralization. Therefore, do not mix with alkaline materials.

  As long as the above three stability requirements are met, 5-ALA can basically meet the stability requirements of all fertilizer products.
